He brings three decades of research and writing experience to help non-profits:

Lisa Bennett has worked in development since 1981. She has experience on staff at organizations both large and small. She began The Cornerstone Group in 1988 to provide help in fundraising. It soon became clear that most resource-development issues are symptoms of more fundamental organizational issues. So she developed other areas of expertise: strategic planning; Board governance; campaign feasibility studies and management; mergers; and professional coaching.
Bennett is also a senior faculty member with The Fund Raising School at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. She teaches their “Principles and Techniques,” “Development Major Gifts,” and “Capital Campaigns” courses all over the United States. Course participants evaluate her teaching style very highly, citing her ability to involve everyone in discussions, her knowledge of the material, experience, clarity, and sense of humor.
